Tallahassee Police Officer Scott Angulo Accused Of Serving False Search And Seizure Warrant On Emmy Award Journalist

On April 13, 2012, Tallahassee Police investigators directed by Scott Angulo extecuted a search warrant and seized computers containing materials, documents and confidential source information of a professional journalist, The person named on the search warrant, Les Coleman is an Emmy Award holder for investigative reporting. At the time the warrant was served and computer(s) seized, Coleman was researching an investigative report regarding Princess Cruise Lines. The Investigators informed Coleman the warrant was in regard to a complaint filed by a foreign national, claiming to be an employee of Princess Cruise lines, who alleged Coleman has harassed her via the internet. It is asserted that this warrant and subsequent seizure was based on false claims, and in violation of FL Sat 90.5015 Known as the Media Shield Law, and 42 USC 2000aa(a)(b) Media privacy protection law.
